Hi, I’m Alison.
I am a writer, editor, native plant gardening enthusiast, and a drinker of fine loose-leaf teas. I have the privilege of living on the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, and I’m learning more every day what it means to honour that privilege.
In 2019, I took the plunge into native plant gardening with no experience or know-how. With the help of a Master Gardener, google, and some good old fashioned library books, I’m learning so much and I have a garden that I love.
This podcast is a passion project for me. I still can’t believe these four brilliant women agreed to join me on this journey. Whether you’re new to gardening, or native plants, or are already a complete native plant nerd like me, I hope you enjoy listening and learning right along with me.
